Joses, being the chief safety is no easy task huh... Anybody keen on going for the Army Open House?

Hey, i was privileged enough to be selected as usher for the PM Swearing in at the Istana on thurs. You guys should have been there with me. Where i stood, the entire cabinet, Lee Hsien Loong, Goh Chok Tong, Lee Kuan Yew, S R Nathan went past. My, you should have checked out their bodyguards and their motorcade. The ambassadors too, came my way. The rich were chauffered right in front of me. I saw Khoo Swee Chow, the adventurer and our only Olympian Gold medallist. CDF walked past me, along with a number of generals with stars on their shoulder. Gosh, never before have i seen them in real life, let alone close up, having them just a few steps from me. The atmosphere was really solemn. As it proceded on, the level of patriotism in me increased. Ha.

Can you guess what disastrous consequences our country might suffer if something terrible happened on thurs night? The entire government was there in one place, packed with high ranking pple. If something happened then, singapore might not have a government the very next moment.

If only i had pics to show you guys... The setting was very beautiful. The ceremony took place out in the garden, with the istana set in the background. The evening sun, the cool breeze, and the scenic view of the CBD from the hilltop painted an awesome picture.

Ah, there was too much food leftover, so me and my guys helped cleared the pastries, the food, prepared by Meritus Mandrian...

If only i ushered, Zoe Tay and Fann Wong...
